new orleans

Mimi was daring enough to embark on this little traveling expedition with me and boy did we have some fun along the way! New Orleans (even when it's not Mardi Gras season) is an absolute blast and filled with fun folk, even on a random Tuesday night. Bourbon St. was filled with colorful buildings, lights, and people alike. It's always such a pleasure seeing such diversity in such a small amount of space. Spanish, French, British; the languages and accents made the experience so eclectic and excitingly foreign.

Walking + Drinking + Taking a Picture = Difficult
The next morning I convinced Mimi to go exploring a bit. I really wanted to experience a bit more of the city before we took off on the next leg of our trip. Turns out the locals are just as interesting and diverse as all the tourists! The architecture was worth the trip, too. Simply beautiful.
